BIG EYES

2001, 11 x 14 Acrylic on Canvas

Could this possibly be a character to the game I am currently working on? Well I can neither confirm or deny it. This is actually the first time I've done anime in acrylic and it was a definite challenge. The background really has nothing to do with the girl but I felt that I need to put something there instead of the white, bland canvas.

SO COLD

2001, 11 x 14 Acrylic on Canvas

For those who don't know this is Jennifer O'dell. She was a model for Maxim magazine. I left the background a plain sky blue because it seemed to bring out Jennifer while complementing her color tones.

THRONE OF SEDUCTION

2001, 35 x 45 Charcoal on Paper

This piece represents all the wrong choices we make in life. A lot of times we are seduced by people we think we know oh-so well when in actuality we are being drawn into a world of deceit and falsehood. We think we are truly in love but we're not. Not to the point that we are too naive to realize it but sometimes we submit to the seduction in thoughts that we might not do any better. The woman represents all the girls I've known that have fallen prey to this seduction and the skeleton represents their boyfriends in disguise bringing them to their throne of deceit. The woman doesn't see his true shape so goes forth willingly. It's not my place to say anything to them because then I would be interfering with a lesson well-learnt. And I've learned my lesson well...
