Watercolor on Watercolor Paper
This piece
is probably one of my more risque paintings I have ever
done. I took a Watercolor class and we did nothing but
landscape and scenic paintings, which is completely
not my style. So as my Final for my class I decided
to do something that was more to my interest which resulted
in Tied. We were all supposed to do a 3 minute critique
on each Final project whereas there was a 30 minute
class discussion on my style and content. I still received
an A for this Final and an A for the class for defying
the norms.

Watercolor on Watercolor Paper
As my watercolor
class progress, I decided to venture from the norms
of watercolor subjects. I preferred to draw and paint
from a phantasmal subject rather than "watercolor lilies."
As I delved deeper into mastering
watercolor, I began to understand its differences from
acrylic.

In this piece
I began to understand watercolor transparencies more.
I began experimenting on a more gruesome subject which
help free my artistic expression.

As you can
see in the above pieces, most of my watercolor color
consisted of red and green. With this piece I broke
from the color scheme and worked with some darker colors.
