PICASSO'S STYLE

2002, 36 x 45 Acrylic on Paper

This is the beginning to my advance painting class. We had to experiment with different styles such as Picasso. This is not exactly my choice style of painting but its always good to try new things.

DISNEYLAND KISS

2002, 36 x 45 Acrylic on Paper

This was a sudden change to my usual morbid, jaw-dropping style of painting. We had to experiment with romanticism from a recent memory. I decided to draw it of me and Babe when we went to Disneyland. Drawing a self-portrait is one of the hardest thing to accomplish due to conflicting self-visualization.

FATALITY

2002, 36 x 45 Acrylic on Paper

After that romanticism crap I decided to go back to painting what I love best. I had this vision of Mortal Kombat in my head so I did a Goro head fatality representation using a black background and warm and cool colors.

RANDOM COLORS

2002, 36 x 45 Acrylic on Paper

Our professor told us to go crazy on the next painting with no actual objects or lines. We had to be random and we had to draw freely with no actual visuals in mind. This was actually a lot tougher than it looked. We still had to keep the composition equally spread.

DRAGON BATTLE

2002, 36 x 45 Acrylic on Paper

It's much harder for me to draw on a larger scale since I'm so into attention to detail. But sometimes when you only have 3-4 hours to complete a painting, sacrifices need to be made.

PORTAL BREACH

2002, 36 x 45 Acrylic on Paper

I wanted to do a painting using a light source. So I made a dragon come through a portal with lightning bolts emitting from it.
